Richard Linklater Has Completed ‘Before Midnight’

While there were rumblings that Ethan Hawke and Richard Linklater were in Greece scouting for a location to potentially shoot "Before Midnight", the sequel to 2004's Before Sunset starring Hawke and Julie Delpy as star-crossed lovers Jesse and Celine, it turns out they were doing more than scouting.

Hawke told MTV, "We're in Greece writing a third installment to Before Sunrise. If it works out, we'll film it, and if it doesn't, we won't. It's not really worth talking about. I'm just here developing." Seems it must have worked out and it definitely seems it's worth talking about.

As you can see in the picture above, there was more than scouting going on as Linklater, Hawke and Delpy finished filming in Messinia, Greece yesterday.

The plot is not yet known, but a statement was issued by the trio, all three of which collaborated to once again write the script, saying, "It's great to be back together again, this time in beautiful Greece to revisit the lives of Celine and Jesse nine years after Jesse was about to miss his flight."

There isn't much more to say about the story outside of the state of their relationship following the open-ending to Before Sunset. What we know is that the film is set in the year 2013.

Michael Clark Duncan "The Green Mile" star, dies at 54

NY Daily News reports that Michael Clarke Duncan, who was nominated for his role in The Green Mile has passed away at only 54-years old. The actor had been hospitalized for the past couple months after suffering a heart attack in July, and today Clarke's fiancee Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth ("The Apprentice") released a statement saying he passed away sometime this morning in Los Angeles while still undergoing treatment at the hospital. The hulking, deep-voice actor became a mainstay after stunning the industry (and holding his own against Tom Hanks) with his turn as man accused of child murder and rape, who has a mysterious and miraculous gift. Read on.

Though The Green Mile really launched Duncan's career, he already had sizable roles in Bulworth and Armageddon the year before. But his career flourished after the 1999 Best Picture nominee with large roles in films like The Whole Nine Yards, Planet of the Apes, The Scorpion King and Daredevil. Though he also continued to show his action chops in films like Sin City and The Island (reateaming him with director Michael Bay), he also took time out for family programming doing voices for cartoons like "The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron" and "Teen Titans."

Duncan eventually also showed a penchant for comedy with several guest turns on "Family Guy" as well as supporting roles in School for Scoundrels, Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby and The Slammin' Salmon. More recently he combined his tastes for action and voicework by playing Commander Vachir in Kung Fu Panda and Kilowog in Green Lantern. Duncan also had a regular role on the Fox series "The Finder" this year, and still has two more films, In the Hive and The Challenger coming down the road.
